Taper Lock Bushings are used for quickly fixing your transmission products to your shafts. They come in various shapes and forms. The down side to standard taperlocks that are available off the shelf is that they are only supplied in cast iron<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Here at Hopwood Gear we SPECIALIZE<\/strong> in manufacturing taper lock bushes in ANY material.<\/strong>\u00a0If you have a specific application, say in an environment that is producing food, then Stainless Steel Taper lock bushes are the answer.<\/p>\n

An example of an application where taperlocks are used is when a product lets say a timing pulley is required to be fixed to a motor shaft which is 50mm in diameter then you will have the option of fitting a taperlock between the range of 2012 and 4030.<\/p>\n

The range of taperlocks are as follows:<\/p>\n

1008 thru 3030 in 3 hole fixing——This range covers shaft sizes up to 75mm<\/p>\n

3535 thru 5050 in 5 hole fixing——This range covers shaft sizes up to 125mm<\/p>\n

6050 thru 120100 in 5, 7 and 11 hole fixings—–These are for very heavy duty applications.<\/p>\n

Taper lock bushes up to 5050 are available off the shelf in cast iron. Other materials can be manufactured.<\/p>\n

Taper lock bushes above 5050 have to be manufactured.<\/p>\n

Taper lock bushes in any material other than cast iron have to be manufactured<\/p>\n

We will manufacture your transmission products if required to suit any type of bush. If taper lock bushes are not your desired shaft fixing then we can also manufacture your product to suit any other type of bush.<\/p>\n

We supply Weld on hubs in any material<\/p>\n

We supply Taperlock adaptors in any material.<\/p>\n

We supply browning bushes in any material.<\/p>\n

We supply QD bushes in any material.<\/p>\n
