This room is temperature controlled at 20 Degrees C.<\/p>\n<p>Our Studer S151 grinding machine is capable of grinding large and complex workpieces to sub micron tolerances.<br \/>\nIt is equipped with rotary dressing to enable the use of CBN grinding wheels.<\/p>\n<p>We also have in this room our Charmilles robofill 440CC wire erosion machine.<br \/>\nThis machine is 5 axis and can machine any 2D shape.<br \/>\nThe wire machine cuts to sub micron accuracy.<br \/>\nThis machine is connected to the internet so we can control it from remote locations.<br \/>\nIt even phones us to tell us that the product is ready!<\/p>\n<p>All of our CNC machines are controlled with CAM so no shape is ever a problem, if it can be drawn, we can cut it!<\/p>\n<p>Of course all of our gears are backed up by our CNC Gear checking machine, Our Klingelnberg Hofler.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2741\" src=\"http:\/\/hopwoodgears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/DSC_3286-218x300.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_3286\" width=\"218\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hopwoodgears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/DSC_3286-218x300.jpg 218w, https:\/\/hopwoodgears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/DSC_3286-768x1055.jpg 768w, https:\/\/hopwoodgears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/DSC_3286-745x1024.jpg 745w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 218px) 100vw, 218px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In our Swiss precision clean room we have two of our most advanced machines.
